There is very little out there for boys who aren't athletic, very little that fills this same need, for an outside source to value and sing the virtues of being a good, contentiousness kid/adult.<br /><br />The Boy Scouts has a whole do have a serious issue to contend with and they need to join the modern ranks. But in my experience, most individual packs don't hold with such fuckery and it would be a disservice to my son if I kept him from something that will build his character AND give him an opportunity to change minds on this topic.<br /><br />Because the Boy Scouts is such a good organization, I simply cannot leave it to the fundies and the mormons.
